Beauty Flash joined the frontrunners for what looks to be a stellar Dubai Duty Free field with an impressive win in the Queens Silver Jubilee Cup at Sha Tin. Tony Cruz’s gelding came from off the pace to lead inside the final furlong and held on gamely seeing off Sunny King to land a bravely fort victory. For this race Beauty Flash was dropped back in trip to 1400m but jockey Gerard Mosse said after: “I was a bit worried about the drop down to 1400 metres because of the different pace of the race, but this horse had enough speed so he was always there and always ready when I pressed the button. He's a superstar."
It was the son of Golan’s third win in a row and surely cemented his position as the best miler in Far East. His next target will be the Dubai Duty Free at Meydan on Dubai World Cup Night.
Trainer of the runner up John Moore is planning to supplement Sunny King for the Dubai Golden Shaheen which is over a shorter 6 furlongs on the Tapeta.
